The character alongside you
Each goal has its mascot, and reference points written for it. Food-safety messages never go through the goal mascot: they have their own voice, in a plain tone.

You do not eat the same way when you are looking for balance, when you are training, when you are getting older or when you are fasting. Radish stays the same counter — what changes is the reference points it puts forward, and the character carrying them.
What it changes
You pick a goal at install and change it later in the settings, at any time. It locks nothing: the food database, the diary and the recipes are the same for all seven.
Each goal has its mascot, and reference points written for it. Food-safety messages never go through the goal mascot: they have their own voice, in a plain tone.
It is not the data that changes — it comes from CIQUAL (ANSES) or the USDA when the food appears there, and carries an “estimated” label when it does not — but what the app puts forward: protein for one, carbs for another, micronutrients for a third.
Changing goal does not reset the diary and erases no meal already logged. The character and the associated reference points change; the rest stays put.
The seven
Each page sets out its goal, the common mistakes, and what the app displays — with its sources. All of them were reviewed by a registered dietitian before publication.
Common to all seven
Nutrition values come from the CIQUAL table (ANSES), USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts. When a value is missing, the app writes “not reported” rather than a zero; when a food is in no table at all, its value is shown as estimated. Counted on 14/09/2026: 18,180 of the 19,474 foods in the app carry a named public table and record number — CIQUAL, USDA, or the BLS, AUSNUT, CoFID and CNF national tables — and 720 are shown as estimated. The detail is on Methodology and Sources.
The meal diary is unlimited and free, with no account to create and no advertising. A Premium subscription exists for AI included and trend reports; it gates none of the reference points described here.
Radish makes no diagnosis and offers no medical advice. In case of a medical condition, pregnancy or an eating disorder, the advice of a healthcare professional takes precedence over any generic reference point in the app.
