Where these figures come from

The Ciqual table is published by ANSES and describes the French food supply: it pools laboratory analyses, manufacturer submissions and recipe calculations. Radish copies record 5215, published by ANSES as “Vin blanc sec”, as it stands; it does not recompute it.

For a drink, the table publishes per 100 g like every other food, while the Nutri-Score scale for beverages reasons per 100 mL: the two readings do not line up. The recipe — sugar, sweeteners, share of reconstituted juice — matters far more than the category.

Of the 17 lines above, 14 carry a number. A cell without a number is not a zero: the source does not publish the amount, or it falls below the measurement threshold.

On 3 lines, the source publishes a threshold marker rather than a number: zinc “< 0,05”, vitamin c “< 0,5” and folate (b9) “< 5”. One convention applies here and only one: that marker is reproduced word for word in the nutrient’s cell, and no number is invented in its place.

These medians pool all the sourced drinks in the database, plain and prepared alike. This position and these medians describe the Radish database, not the quality of a food: they say neither that it should be eaten nor that it should be avoided.
