The number,
and its proof.

A calorie counter that shows the source of every value — CIQUAL (ANSES) or USDA. No account to create, no email to hand over, no trial that quietly turns into a subscription.

Free*, no account, no ads. On Google Play and the App Store.

The proof, on screen

Every number
says where it's from.

In the log, "Apple" carries the CIQUAL 13396 tag; "Salmon poke bowl" carries ESTIMATED. Both read at a glance, and are never mistaken for one another.

Free and paid

Where the line sits.

The core of the app is free, with no meal limit and no ads. Two optional paid plans fund development.

Free

$0
  • Unlimited food log, no account
  • Search across 2,416 built-in foods
  • Barcode scan and recalculated Nutri-Score
  • Personal recipes and their macros
  • Full JSON backup, re-importable

Premium

Subscription
  • Included AI to recognize a meal from a photo, no key to set up — each recognized item stays marked ESTIMATED
  • Long-term trends and reports
  • CSV export of your log

A "Lifetime" plan also exists: one-time payment, AI with your own API key (BYOK) instead of included — without a key, it works without AI. The choice is made inside the app, never on this site.

Before you install

What we get asked here.

Does the Premium prompt show up every time I open the app?

No. The log, search and barcode scan stay usable without limit from day one. The Premium prompt does not appear on every launch: it comes back roughly every eight days, not every time you open the app.

How do I get my log back if I switch phones?

Through the full JSON backup, re-importable into the app, which stays free and needs no account: Settings, then Export my data. CSV export of your log (a Premium feature) also needs no account to be created — Radish doesn't have one anywhere.

Does the app work without a connection?

Counting, searching the built-in database, recipes and Nutri-Score all work without a connection. Two features need the network: scanning a product missing from the database, which queries Open Food Facts, and photo estimation, an optional paid feature — the photo is queued and marked IN QUEUE until the connection comes back.
